This
standard covers performance requirements for stored electrical energy

electrical power to the selected circuits.

NFPA 111, Standard on Stored Electrical
Energy Emergency and Standby Power Systems, is key anywhere an

disruption of the normal utility supply. This standard covers the
performance requirements for stored electrical energy systems that
provide an alternate source of electrical power in buildings and
facilities during an interruption of the normal power source. It is used
in industries such as finance, IT, and certain areas of health
care—anywhere continuous emergency power is legally required or a loss
of power is unacceptable, even for a short duration.

emergency power supply systems (SEPSS). NFPA 111, Standard on Stored
Electrical Energy Emergency and Standby Power Systems, includes
